For the Crumble
  • 1 cup Oats Choose gluten-free oats if needed.
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts Substitute with pecans or omit for nut-free.
  • 1/2 cup Apple Butter Can substitute with blended sautéed apples.
For the Apples
  • 3 medium Apples Natural sweetness, can be substituted with bananas.
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup Adjust to taste.

Method
 

Base Preparation
  1. Blend yogurt, apple butter, Medjool dates, miso paste, spices, salt, and soy milk until smooth.

Crumble Preparation
  1. Pulse oats, walnuts, Medjool dates, and a pinch of salt in a food processor until crumbly.
Sautéing Apples
  1. Sauté diced apples with maple syrup, cinnamon, and water for 3-4 minutes until softened.
Layering and Serving
  1. Layer the chia pudding, sautéed apples, and crumble mixture in jars, repeating layers.
