Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by washing your fresh salmon fillet under cool water, then pat it dry with paper towels.
  2. Place the fillet in a lined baking dish, ensuring it fits snugly for even cooking.
  3. Spread a generous layer of mayonnaise evenly over the top.
  4. Sprinkle freshly crushed garlic, chopped dill, kosher salt, and black pepper on top.
  5. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight.
  6. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  7. Once preheated, remove the salmon from the fridge and uncover it.
  8. Place the dish in the oven and cover it loosely with aluminum foil.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  10. Carefully remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  11. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top before serving.
