Preparation

  2. Place chicken thighs in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and gather skillet and blackberries.
  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken thighs, skin-side down, for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Scatter fresh blackberries around the chicken in the skillet.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F (75°C). Let rest for 5 minutes.
