Step-by-Step Instructions for Oatmeal Cookie Bars
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and gather your baking equipment.
- Mash 2 ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add 2 free-range eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla to the bananas; mix well.
- Melt ½ cup of butter and stir into the banana mixture.
- Combine ¼ cup of honey, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and ½ teaspoon of baking soda; mix thoroughly.
- Fold in 4 cups of rolled oats and ensure they are well coated.
- Gently mix in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
- Line an 8"x8" baking dish with parchment paper and pour the mixture into it.
- Sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top and gently press them in.
