  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips Dark chocolate is recommended.
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Coconut Choose between sweetened or unsweetened.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and coat a 9x13-inch baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a small microwave-safe bowl, mix peanut butter, honey, and one ripe mashed banana. Microwave for 20-30 seconds until soft and stir until smooth.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together rolled oats, ground cinnamon, salt, and slivered almonds until evenly combined.
  4. Pour the warm peanut butter mixture over the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly with a spatula until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the granola mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet and pack it down gently.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.
  7. Cool completely on the baking sheet, then break into pieces and mix in dried banana chips, chocolate chips, and shredded coconut.
  8. Store in an airtight container for up to 7 days, or serve as desired.
