Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake Process
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking dish by greasing it.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Incorporate eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add flour and baking powder, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix granulated sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter to create the cinnamon swirl.
- Pour half of the batter into a greased baking dish. Top with half of the cinnamon mixture, then repeat with remaining batter and cinnamon mix; swirl gently.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with milk. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cake.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
