- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Finely chop the onion and green bell pepper, or sauté them until tender.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, crushed Ritz crackers, sautéed onion, and bell pepper. Add eggs, whole milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan and shape it into a neat loaf.
- Whisk together the glaze ingredients and reserve half for later application.
- Brush half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 45 minutes, then brush with remaining glaze and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes.
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
