Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Finely chop the onion and green bell pepper, or sauté them until tender.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, crushed Ritz crackers, sautéed onion, and bell pepper. Add eggs, whole milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan and shape it into a neat loaf.
  5. Whisk together the glaze ingredients and reserve half for later application.
  6. Brush half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes, then brush with remaining glaze and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes.
  8. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
