Step-by-Step Instructions for Boursin Mac and Cheese
  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve a cup of pasta water.
  2. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan and whisk in flour for 1 minute. Gradually add cream and let it thicken, then stir in Boursin and cheddar until smooth.
  3. Combine the cheese sauce with the drained pasta, adding reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
