Step-by-Step Instructions for Boursin Salmon
  1. Cut the salmon into 4 equal portions, about 5-6 ounces each. Pat dry with paper towels and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Place the salmon portions skin side down. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until lightly browned and slightly undercooked in the center.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and add chopped onion to the skillet. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened and lightly golden.
  4. Add chicken broth and lemon juice to the skillet with the onions. Stir in Boursin cheese until melted and sauce is creamy. Simmer for 4-5 minutes to thicken.
  5. Return the salmon to the skillet, nestling it into the sauce. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until fully cooked. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve and enjoy!
