Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Peel and thinly slice the onions. In a skillet, combine onions, a splash of water, olive oil, and salt. Cook on high heat until boiling, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Lower the heat, allowing onions to simmer for 40-45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water if they start to dry out.
  3. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Once onions are caramelized and slightly cooled, fold them into the yogurt mixture. Add chives and mix thoroughly.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  6. When ready to serve, stir the dip and garnish with extra chives. Serve with veggies, chips, or crackers.
