Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 0.5 lb Ground Pork
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan Cheese or Pecorino Romano
  • 0.5 cup Bread Crumbs gluten-free if needed
  • 1 large Egg or flax egg for vegan
For the Creamy Sauce
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce high-quality
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream or half-and-half
  • 1 tbsp Butter or olive oil for dairy-free
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 small Onion chopped
  • 1 tsp Sweet Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Meatballs
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the egg, chopped parsley, tomato paste, oregano, salt, pepper, minced garlic, and a splash of water. Add in the ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, and Parmesan cheese. Mix gently but thoroughly and form into meatballs. Bake for 20 minutes.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion for 5 minutes, then add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5-7 minutes before adding heavy cream.
Combine & Serve
  1. Add cooked spaghetti to the creamy sauce, stirring for 5 minutes. Fold in baked meatballs, serve topped with extra Parmesan.
