  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour Can use gluten-free blend.
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten for binding.
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs For crispy texture.
For the Cinnamon-Sugar Coating
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon For flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar Adjust for sweetness.
For Air Frying
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking Spray Olive or coconut oil works well.
Optional Dipping Sauce
  • 1 cup Dipping Sauce Caramel or vanilla yogurt recommended.

Preparation
  1. Wash your apples thoroughly and slice them into wedges about 1/2 inch thick, removing cores and seeds.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon, mixing well.
  3. Set up a breading station with three bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with half of the cinnamon-sugar.
  4. Dredge each apple slice in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat with the panko mixture.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  6. Arrange the breaded apple slices in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with cooking spray.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
  8. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon-sugar over hot apple fries and serve warm.
