- Prepare your coating stations by setting up three bowls. Place flour in one, beaten egg in another, and mix panko breadcrumbs with seasonings in the last bowl.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip it in egg, then press it into the panko mixture for coating. Repeat for all breasts.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. Cook coated chicken for 9 minutes, flip and cook for another 7–8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Toast hamburger buns in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes at 400°F while the chicken cooks, if desired.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a crispy chicken patty in each bun and add desired toppings.
