Step-by-Step Instructions for Air Fryer Falafel
- Start by soaking 1 cup of dried chickpeas in plenty of water for 12-24 hours. Drain and rinse thoroughly.
- In a blender, blend soaked chickpeas until mostly smooth but slightly chunky.
- Add parsley, cilantro, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, baking powder, black pepper, dill, sugar, and cayenne to the blender. Blend until smooth.
- Combine the blended mixture with chickpeas in a mixing bowl, and mix gently.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Form the mixture into golf ball-sized rounds.
- Set the air fryer to 370°F (190°C) and cook for 15 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve hot with tahini sauce and fresh vegetables.
