  3. Slice the washed potatoes into ⅓-inch wide sticks.
  4. Soak the cut fries in a bowl of cold water for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Drain the fries using a colander and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  6. Toss the dried fries with olive oil, salt, dried oregano, dill, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  7. Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a lined baking sheet.
