- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, cream together unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the room temperature eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in the clear vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in all-purpose flour alternating with the milk until just combined.
- Line a cupcake tin with paper liners and spoon half of the batter into each liner.
- Press a mini Cadbury Creme Egg into the center of each batter-filled liner, then cover with remaining batter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean, then cool in the tin for a few minutes.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool completely. For frosting, beat unsalted butter until fluffy, gradually adding powdered sugar and milk until desired consistency.
- Frost the cupcakes with the colorful buttercream and add festive decorations as desired.
