  2. Whisk vigorously for about 30 seconds until the dressing becomes a cohesive, slightly thickened liquid.
  3. Taste the dressing and adjust with a pinch of salt and pepper, adding 1 teaspoon optional herbs if desired. Whisk again for about 15 seconds.
  4. Let the dressing rest for about 5 minutes at room temperature to enhance the garlic flavor.
  5. Drizzle dressing over your favorite salad immediately before serving and toss gently.
  6. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
