Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the French baguette into ½-inch thick pieces and arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet. Brush each slice generously with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  3. Toast the baguette slices in the oven for about 8–10 minutes, until just golden and crisp. Allow to cool completely.
  4. Top each cooled baguette slice with a piece of fresh mozzarella, followed by a basil leaf and a slice of ripe tomato.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the platter just before serving.
