Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 pieces Chicken Breasts can substitute with chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon White Pepper or black pepper as a substitute
For the Vegetables
  • 2 cups Broccoli cut into florets
For Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger minced; store-bought is fine
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced; fresh is preferred
For the Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Butter or dairy-free alternative
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce or hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Tamari or Soy Sauce tamari is gluten-free
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil for drizzling before serving

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Cut the chicken breasts into strips, about 1-inch thick, and season with salt and white pepper.
  2. Wash and cut the broccoli into half florets.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet, stir-fry the broccoli for 2 minutes, then flip and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil, add chicken strips, and cook until golden brown.
  5. Add butter, ginger, and garlic to the skillet, stir until fragrant.
  6. Add chicken and broccoli back, mix in the oyster sauce and tamari or soy sauce, stir-fry for 1 minute.
