Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Marinade
  • 1 pound Boneless Chicken Breast or boneless chicken thighs
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 cup Plain Yogurt or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
For the Garlic Sauce
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt for sauce
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
For Assembly
  • 2 cups French Fries optional
  • 4 pieces Pita Bread or any soft flatbread

Method
 

Marinating and Preparation
  1. Cut the chicken breast into strips. In a mixing bowl, combine with minced garlic, spices, and yogurt. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
  2. Prepare the garlic sauce by mixing minced garlic with Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Cooking
  1. Cook French fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Add oil and the marinated chicken strips; cook for about 10-12 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. Warm the pita bread in the same skillet for 1-2 minutes per side until soft.
Assembly
  1. Layer cooked chicken and crispy fries in the warmed pita. Drizzle with garlic sauce and wrap the pita tightly.
