Preparation Steps
- In a mixing bowl or measuring cup, whisk together soy sauce (or coconut aminos), beef broth, water, fish sauce, garlic powder, chopped green onions, granulated sugar substitute, and ground ginger.
- Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the prepared marinade over the meat.
- Lightly oil the bottom of your Instant Pot. Add the marinated flank steak along with the marinade.
- Steam the broccoli florets for about 3–5 minutes until they are bright green and crisp-tender.
- After cooking, carefully perform a quick release of steam from the Instant Pot.
- Mix arrowroot powder with a couple of tablespoons of water in a small bowl and stir into the cooking liquid until it thickens.
- Return the sliced beef and steamed broccoli to the Instant Pot, tossing them gently in the thickened sauce.
