Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil. Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon and add lemon slices, minced garlic, bay leaf, and salt.

  3. Immediately drain the shrimp and transfer them to a bowl of ice water for 5 minutes to stop the cooking process.
