- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- Blend the softened cream cheese with Italian seasoning until smooth.
- Spread about 3 tablespoons of marinara sauce on the bottom of the baking dish and layer half of the tortellini over it.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the tortellini, then drizzle half of the marinara sauce and sprinkle half of the chopped basil, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes until hot and bubbling.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese on top is golden.
- Garnish with additional chopped basil and serve cut into squares.
