Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by washing the romaine or iceberg lettuce thoroughly. Once clean, chop it into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.
  2. Slice halved cherry tomatoes and the red onion finely, then add both to the bowl. Toss in the sliced pepperoni or turkey pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, black olives, and any optional green bell pepper.
  3. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese and dried oregano over the salad. If including croutons or toasted pizza crust pieces, toss those in as well. Drizzle your favorite dressing over the top.
  4. Gently toss all ingredients together until evenly coated with the dressing. Taste and adjust with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve the Pizza Salad immediately for a fresh crunch or chill it in the refrigerator for up to 30 minutes before serving.
