Preparation Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 1 cup of sugar and 1/3 cup of flour until well combined. Gradually mix in 1 cup of sour cream, 3 eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, stirring until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread 4 cups of blueberries across the bottom of the pie crust. Pour the creamy filling mixture over the blueberries.
- In a separate bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg. Melt 1/2 cup of butter and blend it into the dry ingredients, followed by 1 cup of all-purpose flour.
- Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the pie. Bake for 55 minutes, monitoring the crust to prevent over-browning.
- Allow the pie to cool at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes
For best results, use fresh blueberries and allow the pie to rest before serving.
