Ingredients
  

Burger Patties
  • 1 pound Ground Chicken The lean base of these burgers.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced, fresh garlic packs more punch than powder.
  • 3 whole Green Onions Chopped; can be swapped with chives.
  • 1 cup Spinach Chopped; kale can substitute.
  • ½ cup Feta Cheese Crumble into the mixture.
  • 1 handful Fresh Herbs E.g., dill, parsley.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil To keep the patties moist.
Tzatziki Sauce
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt The creamy base.
  • ½ cup Grated Cucumber Squeeze out excess moisture.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Fresh is always best.
  • 1 clove Garlic Minced.
  • 1 handful Chopped Herbs Leftover herbs from the burger mix.

Method
 

Burger Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, chopped green onions, and chopped spinach. Crumble feta cheese and add fresh herbs. Season with salt and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into patties, about 1 inch thick. Place on a plate and cover with plastic wrap.
  3. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium heat. Brush with olive oil. Grill patties for about 5 minutes until edges brown.
  4. Flip patties and cook for another 5 minutes until they reach 165°F internal temperature. Transfer to a plate and let rest.
Tzatziki Sauce Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt with grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Stir in leftover chopped herbs.
Assembly
  1. Serve grilled burgers on buns or lettuce wraps, topped with tzatziki sauce and additional herbs or cucumber.

Notes
