Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Shrimp Casserole
  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 pound of peeled and deveined shrimp and sauté for 3–4 minutes until pink and opaque. Transfer to a bowl.
  2. Combine 8 ounces of cream cheese, 0.5 cup of milk, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1 cup of shredded cheese in the bowl with the shrimp. Mix until creamy.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Pour the shrimp mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese and 0.5 cup of breadcrumbs on top. Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  5. Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes, and optionally garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
