Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat and prepare your oven to 375°F (190°C) and muffin tin with liners or grease.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix together applesauce, egg, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined, with some lumps remaining.
  5. Fill each muffin cup about two-thirds full with batter.
  6. Bake muffins for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
