- In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add 1 pound of ground beef and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
- Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper into the beef. Stir thoroughly and cook for an additional 1–2 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, 3 cups of cooked white rice, 1 can of condensed French onion soup, and 1 cup of sour cream. Stir until evenly blended.
