  • 1 tsp dry mustard Dijon mustard can also be used
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary substitute with Italian seasoning if needed
  • 1 tsp dried thyme optional
  • 1/4 cup honey or use agave syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted butter unsalted butter preferred
For the Honey Butter Glaze
  • 1/4 cup honey adds sweetness
  • 1/4 cup melted butter for a luscious glaze

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray or softened butter.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, seasoning salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, dry mustard, rosemary, and thyme until smooth.
  3. Slice the croissants in half or thirds and soak them in the egg mixture for 1-2 minutes before arranging them in the greased baking dish.
  4. Layer in folded slices of black forest ham and provolone cheese between the croissant pieces, then pour any remaining egg mixture on top.
  5. Let the assembled dish rest for approximately 15 minutes.
  6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes.
  7. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, honey, and dry mustard to create the glaze.
  8. Brush the honey butter mixture over the baked dish and return it to the oven for another 5-10 minutes.
