Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, combine 2 cups of blueberries, 1 cup of juice, and 1/3 cup of sugar. Stir well and heat over medium-high until simmering, about 5 minutes.
  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 6 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until blueberries burst and mixture thickens.
  3. In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of juice with 4 teaspoons of cornstarch, then add this to the saucepan while stirring. Simmer for 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Strain if desired for a smoother syrup.
