  • 1 tsp Fine Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Sour Cream at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter softened
  • 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
For the Ganache Glaze
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tbsp Corn Syrup
  • 6 oz Bittersweet Chocolate melted

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare Cheesecake Filling by combining cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and flour in a bowl. Mix until smooth.
  2. Make Chocolate Cake Batter by whisking cocoa powder, bittersweet chocolate, and espresso powder, then adding boiling water and mixing gently.
  3. Mix Dry Ingredients including flour, sea salt, and baking soda in a large bowl.
  4. Cream Butter and Sugar together in a stand mixer until light and fluffy, then mix in vanilla extract.
  5. Combine Mixtures by adding eggs one at a time and alternating dry and wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Assemble Cake by pouring half of the batter into a greased bundt pan, adding cheesecake filling, and topping with remaining batter.
