Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with soy sauce, gochujang paste, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix gently and let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Divide the marinated beef mixture into equal portions and shape each into a patty, pressing a dimple in the center.
  3. Preheat a grill pan or skillet over high heat. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes on one side until caramelized, then flip and cook for another 4–5 minutes.
  4. Mix mayonnaise with additional gochujang in a small bowl for the mayo. Adjust according to heat preference.
  5. Toast the burger buns and assemble by placing a patty on each, spreading gochujang mayo, and adding fresh vegetables.
