Step-by-Step Instructions for Cherry Cheesecake Cookies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl or using a stand mixer, mix sugar cookie dough, whipped cream cheese, and flour until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
- Scoop dough with a small cookie scoop, roll into balls, and coat in granulated sugar. Place on baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set and tops are slightly puffy. Remove and cool for 5 minutes.
- Press the back of a teaspoon in the center of each cookie creating a well.
- Fill each well with cherry pie filling and let cool completely before serving.
