- In a large bowl, combine ¼ cup olive oil, 2 teaspoons cumin, 2 teaspoons paprika, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon coriander, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, 4 cloves of minced garlic, and the juice of 1 lemon. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Whisk until well blended.
- Cut 1.5 pounds of chicken into strips and add to the marinade, tossing to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or pan over medium-high heat and drizzle with olive oil.
- Cook the chicken strips on each side for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing into bite-sized pieces.
- In a small bowl, whisk together ½ cup mayonnaise, 2 cloves minced garlic, juice of ½ lemon, and a pinch of salt.
- Serve warm in pita or on a plate, drizzling garlic sauce generously over the top.

Notes
