Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Tear croissants in half and layer them in the prepared dish, adding ham and cheese on top.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, half and half, mustard, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers in the dish, pressing down gently.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or overnight.
- Bake covered with foil for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes, then serve with powdered sugar on top.
