Preparation Steps
  1. Line a 9x13" baking dish with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of chopped pretzels and 4 cups of Rice Krispies cereal. Toss until evenly mixed.
  3. In a medium saucepan, add 1 cup of corn syrup, 1 cup of peanut butter, and 1 cup of sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Pour the warm peanut butter mixture over the pretzel and cereal blend, stirring quickly to coat evenly.
  5. Transfer mixture into the baking dish and press down firmly for an even layer.
  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of milk chocolate chips and 1 cup of butterscotch chips. Heat in 30-second intervals until smooth, about 1.5-2 minutes total.
  7. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the pressed cereal base and spread evenly.
  8. Sprinkle reserved 1 cup of chopped pretzels over the top and press down gently.
  9. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes, or until chocolate is firm.
  10. Remove from the baking dish and slice into 32 bars.
