- In a stand mixer, combine sourdough starter, water, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, melted butter, maple syrup, and eggs. Mix on low speed for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Transfer dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise overnight in a warm area.
Filling Preparation
- Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until creamy.
Rolling and Cutting
- Flour a surface, punch down the dough, roll into a rectangle, spread filling, and slice into 12 equal pieces.
Second Rise and Baking
- Place slices in a greased baking dish, let rise for 30-60 minutes, then bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
Topping Preparation
- Whip cream cheese, heavy cream, confectioner’s sugar, and vanilla until smooth, and spread over the cooled rolls.
