Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of dried culinary lavender, and the zest of 2 fresh lemons. Over medium heat, add 1 cup of water and stir until the sugar is fully dissolved, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let steep for 5 minutes, then strain the solids and mix with fresh lemon juice.
  2. Transfer the strained lavender lemonade to a clean, airtight container and refrigerate for at least an hour.
  3. In a 16 oz glass, fill halfway with ice cubes, then pour in 4 oz of chilled dry rosé and 2 oz of lavender lemonade. Top with sparkling water.
  4. Gently stir to combine the ingredients and incorporate the ice.
  5. Garnish with a sprig of fresh lavender or a slice of lemon on the rim of the glass.
