- Cut white fish fillets into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, combine flour or cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Coat each piece thoroughly.
- Heat skillet over medium heat and add butter and olive oil. Once melted, sauté the coated fish bites for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
- Remove fish bites and set aside. Lower heat, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in lemon juice and zest, then return fish bites to skillet for 1-2 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt for garlic aioli.
- Plate the fish bites, garnish with parsley, and serve with garlic aioli on the side.
