Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by greasing a 9"x13" baking dish with butter.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, add 10 oz of mini marshmallows and heat in increments of 20 seconds until puffy and partially melted.
  3. In a separate bowl, place ½ cup of salted butter and heat until melted, then pour into the marshmallow mixture.
  4. Carefully pour the melted butter and marshmallow mixture into a bowl and stir until smooth.
  5. Optionally stir in 1 tsp of green gel food coloring until well mixed.
  6. Fold in 3 cups of Rice Krispies and 3 cups of Lucky Charms until coated.
  7. Pour the mixture into the greased dish and press down evenly.
  8. Sprinkle 1 cup of extra mini marshmallows on top, pressing lightly to adhere.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
