Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, garlic salt, and ground black pepper. Whisk together.
  3. Cut salmon into equal fillets and place them in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over salmon and coat evenly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the marinated salmon fillets on it. Bake for 12–15 minutes.
  5. Baste salmon with leftover marinade halfway through baking for extra flavor.
  6. Remove from oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving with sides like rosemary potatoes or grilled asparagus.
