Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by carefully slicing each Sweet Hawaiian roll in half, creating a top and bottom for your sliders.
- Spread a generous layer of Dijon mustard on the inside of both halves of each roll.
- On the bottom half of each roll, layer thick slices of deli ham, followed by creamy gruyere cheese.
- Carefully place the top half of the roll back onto each sandwich to create a complete slider.
- In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and pour in the milk. Whisk together until well combined.
- Quickly dip the top and bottom of each assembled sandwich into the egg mixture, being careful not to soak them.
- Spray a skillet with non-stick spray and preheat it over medium-low to medium heat.
- Place the dipped sandwiches in the skillet and grill them for about 3–4 minutes on each side.
- Once cooked, dust the warm Monte Cristo Style Breakfast Sliders with powdered sugar for a touch of sweetness.
