Equipment

  • Skillet
  • mixing bowl
  • spatula

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by carefully slicing each Sweet Hawaiian roll in half, creating a top and bottom for your sliders.
  2. Spread a generous layer of Dijon mustard on the inside of both halves of each roll.
  3. On the bottom half of each roll, layer thick slices of deli ham, followed by creamy gruyere cheese.
  4. Carefully place the top half of the roll back onto each sandwich to create a complete slider.
  5. In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and pour in the milk. Whisk together until well combined.
  6. Quickly dip the top and bottom of each assembled sandwich into the egg mixture, being careful not to soak them.
  7. Spray a skillet with non-stick spray and preheat it over medium-low to medium heat.
  8. Place the dipped sandwiches in the skillet and grill them for about 3–4 minutes on each side.
  9. Once cooked, dust the warm Monte Cristo Style Breakfast Sliders with powdered sugar for a touch of sweetness.
