  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 1 cup ham diced, smoked for deeper taste
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese can replace with ricotta
For the Dough
  • 1 lb pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for brushing
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or fresh garlic
For Topping
  • 1 large egg wash mixture of egg and water
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded or diced cooked chicken, diced ham, Swiss cheese, and softened cream cheese. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the filling mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Roll the dough away from you, tucking in the sides as you go to create a tight roll.
  5. Pinch the seams of the rolled dough to seal tightly and crimp the edges securely.
  6. Brush the top of your stromboli with the egg wash, then sprinkle garlic powder and grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Place the stromboli in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
