Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Nutty Irishman
  1. In a mixing bowl, pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar. Using an electric mixer, beat the mixture on medium-high speed for about 2-3 minutes, or until stiff peaks form.
  2. Grab a shaker and add 2 ounces of Irish cream and 1 ounce of hazelnut liqueur over a generous scoop of ice. Secure the lid tightly and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.
  3. Carefully strain the mixed cocktail into a chilled highball or cocktail glass, holding back the ice with the shaker’s strainer.
  4. Using a spoon, gently dollop or pipe your fluffy homemade whipped cream on top of the strained cocktail.
  5. Sprinkle a tablespoon of crushed hazelnuts or graham cracker crumbs generously over the whipped cream.
  6. Present your Nutty Irishman cocktail right away, ideally garnished with a whole hazelnut or a flourish of additional whipped cream.
