Preparation Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine half of the diced red pepper, diced cucumber, one pouch of Bumble Bee® Seasoned Tuna, and a handful of chickpeas. Mix thoroughly to meld the flavors.
- Repeat the process in another bowl with the remaining diced red pepper, cucumber, the second pouch of tuna, and surviving chickpeas.
- Lay cleaned and dried romaine lettuce leaves flat on a cutting board or platter, ensuring they are sturdy.
- Spoon the tuna mixture into the center of each lettuce leaf, aiming for a heaping tablespoon of filling for each wrap.
- Fold the sides of each lettuce leaf over the filling and roll from the bottom up to contain the mixture.
- Serve immediately or pack for later; enjoy with sliced veggies or a dipping sauce if desired.
