- Generously season your boneless skinless chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Allow to rest while you prepare the skillet.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts, searing for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add more oil if necessary, then add minced garlic, long grain white rice, turmeric, and remaining Italian seasoning. Sauté for 1 minute, stirring frequently.
- Pour in the fresh lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Add chicken broth and cream of chicken soup, stirring well and bring to a simmer.
- Carefully place the chicken back into the skillet, cover, and let it simmer for about 15 minutes until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley, basil, and a few lemon slices.
