Step-by-Step Instructions for Peach Caprese Skewers
  1. Start by washing your ripe peaches, grape tomatoes, and fresh basil leaves thoroughly under cool running water. Then, cut the peaches into wedges, ensuring they’re not too soft, to maintain their shape. Dry all the ingredients gently with a kitchen towel, and grab some wooden or metal skewers.
  2. Thread a grape tomato onto the skewer, followed by a mozzarella ball, a folded basil leaf, and finally a peach wedge. Repeat until the skewer is filled, leaving space at each end for easy handling.
  3. Arrange the assembled skewers on a serving platter. Drizzle olive oil over the skewers and sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper to enhance flavors.
  4. If using homemade balsamic reduction, simmer balsamic vinegar over medium heat until reduced by half. Drizzle the warm balsamic glaze generously over the skewers just before serving.
