  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons green onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds optional

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by trimming the ends off the spinach stems and slicing the leaves into 2-inch pieces.
  2. Bring water to a boil in a large pot, adding a pinch of salt, then blanch the spinach for 30 seconds.
  3. Transfer the blanched spinach to a bowl of ice water to cool for about a minute.
  4. Remove the spinach, squeeze out excess moisture, and place it into a mixing bowl.
  5. Add minced garlic, chopped green onion, soy sauce, salt, and toasted sesame oil to the spinach, mixing thoroughly.
  6. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
