  • 1 cup Fresh Red Round Radishes or French breakfast radishes for milder taste
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt room temperature to prevent clumping
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil any neutral oil can work as a substitute
  • 0.5 cup Lemon Juice fresh juice recommended
  • 1 clove Garlic finely minced
For Extra Flavor
  • 2 tablespoons Minced Scallions
  • 1 tablespoon Julienned Mint can substitute dill or parsley
  • 1.5 teaspoons Salt adjust to taste
  • 0.75 teaspoons Pepper adjust to taste

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash and trim 1 cup of fresh red round radishes under cool running water. Grate them into a medium-sized mixing bowl until fluffy.
  2. Transfer the grated radishes into a clean paper towel. Gather the edges to form a pouch and squeeze to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix the drained radishes with 1 cup of room-temperature Greek yogurt, 1 minced garlic clove, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and the juice of half a lemon. Add 2 chopped scallions and 1 tablespoon of julienned mint.
  4. Sprinkle in 1.5 teaspoons of salt and 0.75 teaspoons of pepper. Mix everything thoroughly and adjust seasoning to taste.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the mixture to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Stir the dip before serving. Garnish with additional mint or chopped scallions and serve with warm pita, fresh vegetables, or crackers.
